The exhibition exists to say thanks to those who helped us, taught us, and inspired us. We say thanks to those who stayed with us through the years and those who have left. Most of all we say thanks to those who will invite us with open arms into their studios. Thanks, we'll do you proud.
The title of the 2010 graduating exhibition encapsulates two very different sentiments felt by its creators. On the one hand the title represents the exhibitors’ earnest gratitude to the people who have generously contributed to their learning experience over the past four years. And on the other hand, thanks is a statement of relief, at having completed such a monumental chapter in these exhibitors’ lives. That chapter of learning has been long, challenging and fantastically rewarding for all involved. It has required these graduates to address core principles and theories of communication design, and to adapt those concepts to the very latest media and technologies; it has demanded them to research and develop original works that demonstrate expertise and innovation in their field, and great empathy for their audience.
The works featured in the pages of this website address a vast array of audiences and encompass all forms of graphic media. The diversity demonstrated here is testimony to the versatility and adaptability of these graduates, qualities which are incredibly valuable in any profession and highly prized in the rapidly changing landscape of communication design and production.
